Employee Recruitment

One of the first steps to avoiding layoffs is to hire the right candidate in the first place. Finding the right employees can be a challenge

We can help.

Utilize the free job posting service of the Business Resource Centers, from local job boards to popular State and National web sites.

Ask about our customized recruitment services. From articulating the job description, to designing a legal application form, to advertising, screening applicants, reviewing related labor law, performing the initial interview and narrowing down the fields of candidates to a manageable number for your selection.

Perhaps a Job Fair would better meet your needs. Your local One Stop Employment Center arranges Job Fairs designed to maximize employer recruitment of qualified job applicants.

The focus of the Job Fair ranges from recruiting for a specific company (Rolling Hills Casino, Lowes, Orchard Supply Hardware, etc.), to an industry (e.g., resorts), to an industry cluster (e.g., the annual Seasonal Industries Job Fair held in Plumas County, including resorts, landscaping, construction, forestry, etc.) to a generic Job Fair for all employers in a particular area (e.g., the annual Tri-State Job Fair held in Alturas). Talk to your local Business Resource Center about this opportunity to increase your community exposure and meet with job ready applicants.

Assistance with new hires, whether for one employee or hundreds, is a frequently requested business service offered by the Business Resource Centers.
Let’s put our heads together and see what we can accomplish!
