Job Description:  Maintain and clean  kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils; Assist cooks, chefs, bakers in preparing foods.  Physical Demands - Active w/Medium lifting, carrying, or moving (up to 50 lbs);   General Educational Development - R2 M1 L1; Aptitudes -  Numerical and Motor skills.

  1. Can demonstrate ability to properly sweep and mop kitchen areas.  (R, T)
  2. Can demonstrate proper techniques used to wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, grills, stoves, and meat blocks.  (R, T)
  3. Can demonstrate proper technique used to separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.  (R , T)
  4. Can demonstrate proper techniques used for sorting bottles, and for breaking disposable ones in bottle-crushing machines.  (R, T)
  5. Can demonstrate proper techniques used to clean garbage cans.  (R, T)
  6. Can demonstrate proper techniques used to wash dishes, trays, pots and pans used in cooking and food service.  (R, T)
  7. Can demonstrate proper techniques used to scrape food from dishes and stack in dishwasher or place on conveyor to dishwashing machine.  (R, T)
  8. Can demonstrate proper technique used to clean inside surfaces of glasses with revolving brushes.  (R, T)
